Anodyne Records, The Record Machine and Mushpot Announce 2010 South By Southwest Showcase
(Monday, March 1) - This year Anodyne Records, The Record Machine and Mushpot are teaming up to present an unofficial SXSW showcase at The Jackalope Thursday, March 18. From 2PM until 7PM six bands from Anodyne and The Record Machine will be taking over the stage:
Thanks to Kansas City’s generous Boulevard Beer partygoers will be able to enjoy complimentary beer throughout the afternoon. In between bands there will be too hot to handle DJ sets from Max Justus, Bacon Shoe and Yawn.
The Showcase will couple as the release party for Mushpot’s free, eleven-song compilation entitled Future Magic Volume 1 which will be available March 16. It features exclusive tracks and artists such as Emperor X, Candy Claws, Yawn, Capybara and Family Portrait.
The Jackalope is located at 404 E. 6th Street. Admission will only be granted to those attendees 21 and over.
